Issues with Apple Home since iOS 18 update

We have been made aware of issues with Apple Home since the iOS 18 update which on occasion causes devices to not respond as normal and show the ‘Updating’ error message.

We have been testing internally and have found that a fix for this is to remove the main device from your Apple Home completely and re-add it.

If you are using our HomeBridge solution, or other hubs such as Philips Hue for lighting or Lightwave RF - these hubs will remain in use and unaffected.

We have found from our testing that the deletion and re-adding of the main device fixes the issues with devices not responding as normal and negates the ‘Updating’ error message.
